As someone who has navigated life with a deep sense of anxiety, my work has long been defined by intense precision and control. For years, I’ve meticulously crafted each piece, driven by a need for order and exactness. With "Self Work," I sought to challenge this instinct—to create not just art, but a personal practice of release.

This collection captures imagery of places I consider paradise, reflecting the serene state my mind reaches when I am deeply immersed in my craft. Yet, it also represents a deliberate act of letting go. Through these works, I confront my own compulsion for precision, embracing the imperfect and the unfilled spaces in both the canvas and in life.

"Self Work" is a message to myself and to the viewer: that there is beauty and peace in surrendering the need to control every outcome. It is a practice in trusting the process, in allowing the work to breathe on its own terms.
